This method of interaction is intended to make a child more comfortable with their doctor and make the visit to the doctor’s office a fun experience.
The first page introduces the specified doctor to the child viewer. The story is simple and effective: The child wakes up sick, goes to the doctor office and then goes home feeling better. An original character, illustrated by Shelltoon Illustrations, appears on each page that coincides with each step of the visit. By the time the child meets their doctor or care provider, in person, they already know, from their coloring book, that the doctor, or care provider is caring and will make them better.
